Maura Sarachik, O.D.

Dr. Maura Sarachik, one of New York’s most respected optometrists, graduated from the State University of New York College of Optometry and was also a clinical instructor there. Dr. Sarachik was one of the first optometrists in the state of New York certified in the use of therapeutic pharmaceutical agents to treat eye diseases. Her expertise involves solving difficult refractive and contact lens problems, and she has broad experience with geriatric patients and their unique eye problems. Additionally, Dr. Sarachik lectures frequently and has published articles in scientific journals.

Lloyd Haskes, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Lloyd Haskes is one of New York’s best known optometrists. He graduated from New York University and received his Doctor of Optometry at the State University of New York. As an associate clinical professor of optometry at SUNY, he is actively engaged in teaching and training optometrists. His interests include diagnosis and management of ocular disease and pre- and post-surgical eye care. Dr. Haskes is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has published articles in a number of scientific journals and textbooks.
